How do I arm my system? What are the different arming modes?

2GIG Go!Control: From the Home screen: press security, arm, pick your mode. Stay will arm everything but motion detectors. Away will arm everything.

SimonXT: Press the doors and windows button to arm your door/window sensors including glassbreak sensors. Press the Motions button to arm your motion detectors.

Vista: Type in your 4 digit code then press 2 for Away mode or 3 for Stay mode. Stay will arm everything but motion detectors. Away will arm everything.

Concord: press the arming mode button on the right then enter your 4 digit code. Stay will arm everything but motion detectors. Away will arm everything.
How do I disarm my system?

2GIG Go!Control: press Disarm, type in your code. If entering your building just type in your code.

SimonXT: Type in your code.

Vista: Type in your 4 digit code then press the number 1.

Concord: Press Disarm on the right hand column of buttons and then type in your 4 digit code.
My alarm went off, what do I do?

Disarm your system. If you disarm within 30 seconds of it going off an alarm signal will not be acted on and you will not be contacted. If not wait until the monitoring service calls you. Explain what is going on and give them your password. You can decide if you need help or not.
My system is beeping, what do I do?

2GIG Go!Control: From the Home screen press security. Next to Menu is a yellow triangle. Press it, note any error messages and then press ok. Resolve any problems if possible or call OMNI Security for service.

SimonXT: Press Status, note any messages. Resolve any problems if possible or call OMNI Security for service.

Vista: Disarm your system. Press the star (*) key to get any messages on your alarm. Note any codes or zones listed. Resolve any problems if possible or call OMNI Security for service.

How do I change my code?

2GIG Go!Control: From the Home screen press Security, Menu, Toolbox, enter your current master code. From the list that appears select User Management. From the User List pick the user code you want to change. To change the master code select the first user (labeled master), change pin, type in any 4 digit code and press ok, then type the same code again and press ok.

SimonXT: Press up or down until system programming is displayed. Press ok or enter (depends on hardware version). Type in your current master code and press enter or ok. User Management will be displayed. Press enter or ok. Master code and the current code will appear. Press enter or ok. Type in a new 4 digit code. Press enter or ok. Press the status button 3 times to exit.

Vista: Type the following: old 4 digit code, 8, 0, 2, new 4 digit code, new 4 digit code

Concord: Enter programming by pressing 9 current master code. Press the down arrow button to the right of the LCD display), until you see User Code, then press #. Regular User Codes will be displayed. Press down until System master code is displayed and press #. Enter a new 4-digit then press #. Press * + 00 + # to exit programming.
How do I turn chime mode on or off?

2GIG Go!Control: From the Home Screen press security, menu. On the bottom is a box labeled chime. Press it to turn chime mode on or off. If the box is checked chime mode is on.

SimonXT: Press up or down until Chime is displayed. Press enter or ok. Press up or down to switch it to on or off. Press ok to save the value. If you see a little bell next to the time chime mode is on.

Vista: type the following: user code 9. This will toggle chime mode on or off. If you see the word chime displayed on your keypad chime mode is on.

Concord: Press 7 then 1. If chime is displayed chime mode is on.
How do I change my system battery?

2GIG Go!Control: Open your panel but undoing the set screw on the top of your keypad. Pull from the top to pull the panel off the wall. The battery is the green cube on the bottom of the panel. Disconnect it from your panel carefully. Plug your new battery in. Put the keypadback on the wall by putting the bottom in first then snap the top in and replace the set screw.

SimonXT: Press the top two tabs and pull from the top. The whole keypad will swing forward. Pull the battery out by pressing down on the lower tab and pulling the battery out on that side. Disconnect the red and black leads from your battery. Connect your new battery to the red and black wires, red wire to red terminal, black wire to black terminal. To put the battery back in put the top of the battery in first making sure the wires are BEHIND the battery so you cannot see them. Press on the battery to snap it into place.

Vista: Locate your panel (NOT YOUR KEYPAD). Open it up. If it is locked there might be a key on the top of the panel. On the inside is a brick battery with a red and black lead. Disconnect it. Connect your new battery by connecting the red wire to the red terminal and the black wire to the black terminal.

How do I change the batteries on my door sensor/motion/glassbreak/smoke/etc.?


Door Sensors: On your door sensor on one side there is a spot clearly designed to be pressed in. Push in on it to open your door sensor. Once open the batteries will be in plain sight. Replace with the same type of battery.
Motions:

2GIG Motions : Remove the set screw on the bottom. Remove the motion by tilting it up. The battery will be in plain sight. Replace with a CR123A batteries. To put the motion back on put the top part in first, then the push the bottom part in and put the screw back in.

SimonXT Motions: push the button on the top of the motion and tilt the motion down towards you. On the top on the inside are two tabs and on the bottom is one tab. Press all three together and pull forward on the housing to pull the motion out. Remove the motion by tilting it up. The battery will be in plain sight. Replace with AA batteries.

Honeywell wireless old style: To open the motion sensor use something flat like a screwdriver. On the bottom is a mark where you can insert the flat object. Give it a twist and the glassbreak door will pop open. Your batteries will be in plain sight. Replace with CR123A batteries.

Honeywell wireless new style: push the tab on the bottom and the motion will tilt up and out. The battery will be in plain sight. Replace with a CR123A battery.

Glassbreaks:

Flat Style: To open the glassbreak sensor use something flat like a screwdriver. On the bottom is a mark where you can insert the flat object. Give it a twist and the glassbreak door will pop open. Your batteries will be in plain sight. Replace with CR123A batteries.

Round style: The glassbreak comes off the mount with a simple counter-clockwise twist (to the left). The batteries will be in plain sight. Replace with CR123A batteries.

Box style: The front cover comes off. To remove: grab the edge of the glassbreak and pull the cover off. Once removed the batteries will be in plain sight. Replace with CR123A batteries.

Smoke/carbon sensors: Twist the sensor counter clockwise. The batteries will be in plain sight. Replace with same type of batteries.

What happens if the power goes out?

All systems: The system will switch automatically over to battery power and your alarm system will go into a low power mode and will give you an indicator that it has no power on the keypad. The battery in your system are good for up to 24 hours. Once power has been restored the system will automatically recharge the battery. In the rare event of an extended power loss you may need to replace the system battery if the battery does not fully recharge in 48 hours.
How do I bypass and why?


You would bypass a zone or senor in cases when you want the system to ignore a sensor. Cases would be times when a sensor is damaged or broken preventing you from arming your system, or if you have an internal zone that you need to have ignored for a time.

2GIG Go!Control: From the home screen press security, menu, toolbox, enter your 4 digit code, bypassed sensors. From the menu that appears select the sensor you with to bypass. If you cannot arm the system due to an open zone, when you try to arm the system it will display a list of open zones. In the bottom right hand corner it will display bypass sensors. Press that button then enter your code and any open sensors will automatically be bypassed.

SimonXT: Arm the system then press the BYPASS button and then enter your master code. Scroll up or down to find the sensor you wish to bypass. Press OK or enter to bypass. When the sensor is bypassed, the panel display will show “Bypassed”. If you cannot arm the system due to an open zone, just press the Doors and Windows button again and it will bypass any open zones.

Vista: You need to know the zone number beforehand. Keep in mind that single digit zones (ie: 1, 2, 3, etc) will all have a 0 in front of it. Once you know the zone numbers press the following: code, 6, zone number. After a few seconds the system will beep and display the zone number that you bypassed. To bypass multiple zones keep on typing in zone numbers. For example: 1234, 6, 01, 02, 03, 10 will bypass zones 01, 02, 03, and 10.

Concord: Arm your system in STAY or AWAY mode. Press # + CODE. The keypad will display “BYPASS SENSOR _ _”, enter the sensor you wish to bypass. The keypad will display “BYPASSED ZONE _ _” or “SENSOR _ _ BYPASSED”. If you cannot arm the system due to an open zone when the keypad displays PROTEST press # and it will automatically bypass any open zones.

How do I install a door contact?

There are two parts to a door contact: the sensor and the magnet. On both there is a mark that needs to be lined up in order for the door contact to operate properly. Using self adhesive/two sided tape put your door sensor on either the frame or the door itself and the magnet on opposite piece. When the door is opened one of the two parts should move away and the other should stay still.

ALARM.COM

How do I log into alarm.com?

Go to the webpage alarm.com and press the orange login button on the upper right. This is bring you to the login page. Enter your credentials and you are in.
I forgot my user name/password for alarm.com, how do I get them back?

Go to the login page on alarm.com. Underneath the sign-in fields there is a forgot username/password link. Click on it. If you forgot your username enter your email address in the field that says “I forgot my username.” It will be emailed shortly. If you forgot your password enter your alarm.com login name in the field that says “I forgot my password” and it will be emailed to you shortly.
How do I arm my system from alarm.com?

After logging into alarm.com you will be on the Security page. On the left hand side there are three buttons: a green arm away, a yellow arm stay, and a red arm away. Hit the mode you would like and press send command in the window that pops up.
How do I change my user codes on alarm.com?

On the main security page go to users. To change a user code find the user you would like to change and click on the code area and then enter a new 4 digit code. To add people on the upper right there is a button marked actions. Hit that and then hit add user. Fill out the form and then at the bottom click on the button that says control panel access and enter a 4 digit code.
How do I view my user history?

On the main security page (the one presented when you first log in) it is present just under the arming section in plain view. To view more history on the upper right of that window is a more history button. Press it to see more.
Can I access multiple alarm system from alarm.com and how?

Yes. To do so you much know the alarm.com logins from both. Log into the alarm.com system you would want to use as your main account. Under profile go to multiple system access. On the right press add system. It will ask you for the username and password to the account you wish to add. Simply enter that and your accounts are now linked.
How do I adjust my thermostat on alarm.com? Can I program it and how?

Go to emPower section on alarm.com. Select thermostats. On the page that shows you can adjust your thermostat settings by using the controls that appear on the right.
To setup a program press the gear in the window that has your thermostat controls and press edit schedule. On the window that appears is where you set your schedule. You do this by dragging the sliders on the days to the times to set when you are home, away, and asleep and then using the controls at the top set the temperatures for each of those timeslots.
How do I use my lights on alarm.com?

Go to the emPower section on alarm.com. Select lights. From the menu that appears you can select a group if you have created on or all devices to control individual devices. Pick either one and then control the lights by press on/off or setting a dim level and pressing on.

Go to the emPower section on alarm.com. Select locks. On the menu that appears pick the lock you want to control and then press lock or unlock.
What are Geo-Services? How do I use it?

Geo-Services are used to automate parts of your alarm system. It can be a reminder to arm your system, or a way to automate parts of it. To set it up go the Mobile section on alarm.com. To add a fence press “add a fence”, enter the address for the center and then how big you want it. Once setup on the right you can see a list of features you can setup with links. You can set door lock reminders, sensor reminders, setup a thermostat override, pause your video recordings or setup light automation based on your physical location.
How do I view my camera(s) on alarm.com?

Go to the video tab. Scroll down to view your cameras. To change the size of the cameras use the controls on the upper left above the camera feed. The controls on the upper right will allow you to manually start a recording or take a snapshot.
How do I setup recordings on alarm.com?

Go to the video tab. Go to the Recording schedules. A default schedule to record whenever an alarm goes off is there automatically. To add on motion activated recordings hit add schedule and pick Video Motion Detection. From the top dropdown pick the camera you need to modify, then pick a time frame. You can also setup a smart stay feature to NOT record when you are at home by using the check boxes at the bottom. Press save schedule when you are done.
How do I review my camera footage on alarm.com?

Go to the video tab. Go to Saved clips. Find the clip you wish to review then press play. From the display that comes up you can save, rename, lock or delete the clip you are viewing.
How do I view my Image Sensor pictures?

Go to the Image Sensor Tab. The gallery will be open first. All your saved snapshots will be in there. To upload a new image into the gallery go to the Upload Images tab, find the event or time you are looking for and press the upload button to the left of the event column.

VIDEO (HX PRODUCTIVITY) SYSTEM

How do I change my camera layouts?

NVR/DVR: on the bottom right row pick the layout you want.

VMS: Press the settings button on the upper left on the row of icons that appears press the left most one. Press the layouts drop down and select your layout. To move cameras around in your live layout press the camera dropdown and click and drag the camera channel to the position you want.
How do I mask off certain areas from recording?

NVR/DVR: Press the Gear button, go to system configure, camera configure or just press F9. On the window that appears pick the camera from the drop down menu on the upper left. Below that is a group of controls in a box labeled Motion Detection. To add a mask press the button that has a green grid and a plus sign on it. Click and drag on the camera image to the right to add a masked off area. To remove a masked area press the button that has a green grid and a minus sign on it. Click and drag on the camera image to the right to remove portions of the masked off area. To remove an area press the X.

VMS: Press the Settings button in the upper right. Click on the configure gear, go to system configure and record setting. Select the camera you want to setup in the lower left. On the lower right where it says Motion Detect click on the green arrow to the right. Another window pops up. . To add a mask press the button that has a green grid and a plus sign on it. Click and drag on the camera image to the right to add a masked off area. To remove a masked area press the button that has a green grid and a minus sign on it. Click and drag on the camera image to the right to remove portions of the masked off area. To remove an area press the X.
How do I zoom in? How far can I zoom?

Both: move the mouse over the camera/area to zoom in on and use the scroll wheel up to zoom in and scroll wheel down to zoom out. You can have up to a 32 times zoom.
The cameras are recording too much. How do I adjust the recording sensitivity?

NVR/DVR: Press the gear icon, go to system configure, camera configure or just press F9. On the window that appears there is a section marked Motion Detection. Adjust the slider marked as Sensitivity to decrease the sensitivity of the motion activated recordings. Higher numbers mean higher sensitivity. Also you can activate Noise Tolerance by pressing the little green triangle button next to the slider and selecting Noise Tolerance and setting a tolerance level.

VMS: Press the Settings button in the upper right. Click on the configure gear, go to system configure and record setting. Select the camera you want to setup in the lower left. On the lower right where it says Motion Detect click on the green arrow to the right. Another window pops up. In the middle left there is a Sensitivity slider. Slide the slider to adjust how sensitive the cameras are. Higher numbers mean more sensitive. Below that is the Noise Tolerance setting. Check the box and adjust the sensitivity by moving the slider. Higher number means higher tolerance.
How can I rename the cameras?

NVR/DVR: Press the gear icon, go to system configure, camera configure or just press F9. On the top dropdown list just click on the camera name itself and edit it from there.

VMS: Press the settings icon in the upper right row of icons and from there select Camera Install. In the IP Device Window that appears is a list of the cameras. Find the camera you want to change the name of and press the settings icon on the far right. On the window that pops up on the upper part is a Camera Name field. Change the name there and then press ok.
How do I playback recorded footage?

NVR/DVR: Press the page/magnifying glass icon and then press video/audio log. On the new program that opens up from the top right drop down menu you pick your camera. Beneath that is a window where you can pick the date. Beneath that is a list of times that represent recorded events. Finally at the bottom press the play button to playback.

VMS: On the upper right row of icons press the one that looks like a filmstrip. A view of all your cameras comes up. On the bar on the bottom is your time; to the left of that is a camera and date selection. To change your date click on the date and a calendar will come up and then click on the date you want to view. The Camera row will have areas blocked off to indicate there is something recorded at that time. To change what camera’s information is displayed there click the camera name and then select your camera. To view playback click on the timeline to jump to that time frame. To play back press the play button on the bottom left.
How do I use a ptz/fisheye camera?

PTZ:

NVR/DVR: press the PTZ icon on the right hand side. A control appears in the upper left of your screen. On the bottom of that control is a dropdown menu. On that menu you pick the camera you want to control. To move the camera use the up/down/left/right buttons on the top part of the remote box. The buttons in the middle are for zoom in/out, iris open/close (make the picture brighter), and focus in/out (adjust focus manually)

VMS: hover your mouse over the camera channel you wish to control. On the bottom of the channel a row of icons will appear. Press the far right one and select PTZ control. A little control will appear in the lower right corner of your video. To move the camera use the up/down/left/right buttons on the top part of the remote box. Fisheyes:

NVR/DVR: Right click on the camera channel. Hover over the camera name on the menu that appears. On the new menu that opens select GeoFisheye. The camera will automatically go into Quad View. To change your views right click again and a new item is available at the bottom called Fisheye options; select that and then select Camera Mode. The modes available are Quad view, 360 mode, dual 180 mode, and single view. To move the views, after selecting your Camera Mode simply click and drag with your mouse on the image you wish to move around. To zoom use the mouse wheel up to zoom in and mouse wheel down to zoom out.

VMS: Access the Content list. Find your fisheye camera. The different views can be added to your layout as an independent view. To access the different viewing modes right click on the camera and select Fisheye Options. On the new window that appears right click to bring up the Fisheye Options menu where you can change the Camera Mode to Quad View, 360 Mode, Dual 180 Mode, and single view mode.

How do I change resolution between live and remote viewing?

DMMultiview: right below the camera shots is a row of icons. From the left, the 2nd on is the button that manually controls your resolution of your cameras. To change it click on the icon and then pick the channel you want to change the resolution and then pick your resolution.

RemoteViewlog: Max resolution is always available and cannot be adjusted.
How do I change resolution on remote viewing?

The resolution is set when installing the program and cannot be modified or changed.
How do I auto focus cameras?

NVR/DVR: If your IP camera is motorized you can autofocus the camera by clicking on the camera channel you wish to focus, then press the PTZ control on the right. On the remote control that appears on the bottom is a menu button. Press it then press autofocus.

VMS: Open the PTZ controls up by hovering your mouse over the video channel pressing the right most icon on the bottom of the channel and select PTZ control. On the controls that appear in the lower right press the Home button and then select Auto Focus.
How do I playback multiple cameras?

NVR/DVR: On the playback (either local or remotely) click once on the main screen where the play back is happening and it will toggle to multiview playback mode. To return to normal press the button on the very upper right hand side, select single view, then standard.
How do I make a copy of my videos?

NVR/DVR: On the right and side is a column of icons. The bottom one looks like a box and an arrow pointing to another box. Press it. On the upper left of the menu that appears press the using hard disk button, then press the box with three dots in it to the right of it. Select the location you want to copy your video to (i.e. a flashdrive, the desktop). On the bottom left press the button marked Add Time Frame. On the menu that comes up on the right hand side make sure the camera you want to backup is checked, and on the left upper part of that window marked Time Period set your start and end time and then press ok. Press ok again on your original window to start the backup process.

On the upper left of the menu that appears press the using hard disk button, then press the box with three dots in it to the right of it. Select the location you want to copy your video to (i.e. a flashdrive, the desktop). On the bottom left press the button marked Add Time Frame. On the menu that comes up on the right hand side make sure the camera you want to backup is checked, and on the left upper part of that window marked Time Period set your start and end time and then press ok. Press ok again on your original window to start the backup process.
How far back can I view footage?

This is determined by how much hard drive space you have and how many cameras you have, and the quality of the cameras and how often they are recording. 8 1 megapixel cameras recording for 24 hours a day will get 1 week of footage on 4 TB of hard drives. However, most of the time a camera is NOT recording 24/7 and is only recording when something is moving so it is very feasible for 8 1 megapixel cameras to get beyond two weeks of footage.
What mobile apps are there?

How do I view recorded footage on mobile/tablets?

GV-EYE: open a channel up in full screen by double tapping on it. Press the icon in the very bottom right hand. From the list that appears select the even that you want to view.

GV-aView: on the main screen select RPB View. Select your device from the list. Then press the chain icon to connect. From the list that appears select your camera then select the event to view.

GV-iView: On the bottom of the screen select RPB View. First make sure you are connected to your device by selecting RPB Favorite and then your device and then press connect. On the list that appears select the event to view to playback. To change your camera press change cam in the upper right and select your camera.
How do I setup my mobile apps?

GV-aView: When you open your app there will be a list. Simply fill out the fields. Favorite Name does not matter. IP is the DNS name of your system. Port is 8866. ID and password have been given to you. Press the plus icon on the bottom.

GV-Eye: on the main screen of the app press the icon that looks like a list. On the screen that comes up press the plus on the upper right. On the screen that appears put in your information. Name does not matter, IP Address is the DNS name of your system, Port is 56000 username and password have been provided to you. Once all fields are filled out press Update Device Info. Once updated, select Max. No of Cameras and change it to however many cameras you have. Press the disk icon in the upper right to save. To add views to your main page press the channel where it is blank and then pick the camera from the list that appears.

How do I use my mobile apps?

GV-Eye: after setting it up, simply open the app. Swipe left or right to view other channels. Double tap to bring a camera into full screen. To change the video quality press the icon on the bottom that has a 1 / 2. Pinch to zoom.

GV-aView: after setting it up, select your device from the list, and then press the chain icon. Swipe left or right to view other channels. Double tap on a channel to open it up to full screen.

GV-iView: After setting it up make sure the device you wish to connect to is selected and then press connect. You can change the device by selecting Favorite on the main screen and then pick your device.
My camera is down. What do I do? (analog and IP)

Analog: check your power supply. If it is on, try unplugging it and plugging it back in. Also check your camera connections on the back of your DVR, make sure everything is connected good and tight.

IP: Check to make sure the Ethernet cable connecting your NVR to the camera network is still connected. If it is then make sure the POE switch is plugged in and powered on. If it is then try to reset the cameras by unplugging the POE switch and plugging it back in.
How do I add or change my user login? How do I give different levels of authority? User logins?


NVR/DVR: Press the gear, go to System Setup, Password Setup, Local account edit. To change your password right click on the user you want to change the password for and press change password. To add a user press the New button on the bottom left. On the menu that appears fill out an ID, a password, and a hint and give the new account a security level. Supervisor can do anything, power user can do almost everything a supervisor can except for create new users and a power user’s abilities can be limited by a supervisor by checking or unchecking the boxes of the functions in the main view in the middle of the User menu. Regular Users are by default extremely limited to what they can do and can have features added or removed just like Power users.

VMS: On the main screen in the upper right corner is the current user logged in. Press the down arrow next to it and then select Password Setup and Local Account Edit. To change your password right click on the user you want to change the password for and press change password. To add a user press the New button on the bottom left. On the menu that appears fill out an ID, a password, and a hint and give the new account a security level. Supervisor can do anything, power user can do almost everything a supervisor can except for create new users and a power user’s abilities can be limited by a supervisor by checking or unchecking the boxes of the functions in the main view in the middle of the User menu. Regular Users are by default extremely limited to what they can do and can have features added or removed just like Power users.

How do I set up Remote Viewing on my computer? OMNI System, HIK Vision?

OMNI System:

Playback: Install Remote Viewlog. Once installed open the program. On the box that appears select Viewlog Service. Fill out the fields on the new window that appears. IP address is the DNS name of your device. ID and password were provided to you.

Live view: Install DMMultiview. Once installed open the program. On the box that appears press edit next to the IP address box. Enter either your device’s IP address or DNS (webpage) address. Leave the ports number alone. Press ok and then enter your user name and password and then press ok to connect.

HIKVision: enter the web address into your web browser and log in. Make sure to follow the instructions of any popup windows that appear.

My remote access has stopped working. How can I fix it?

Check to make sure your port forwarding has not changed. If it has been changed correct it. If you have recently replaced your router or modem make sure the IP address of the DVR is compatible with your new network and that the port forwarding is ok.

Also check to see if the Web service is running on your system.

How do I add cards/people to my system?


To add cards: Go to Personnel at the top and select cards. On the window that appears press new. Enter the card number on the field that has the card number. If you wish to assign a user on the user field press the button to the right of the empty box and on the user list that appears find the user you want to add and double click on them. To change access groups assigned to the card press the drop down menu on the middle lower part of the window and pick your group. Once done press ok.

To add users: Go to Personnel at the top and select users. Then on the Window that pops up press New then on the window that appears fill out the fields on the boxes that appear and then press OK when done.

How do I review what is happening at a door?

From the list of doors on ASManager select the door you wish to look at. On the Live Video screen the camera that has been assigned to that door will show up.
How do I playback footage from at my door?

First from any Monitoring window (Access, Event, or Alarm) select the event you wish to review footage of. Then on the playback window press the Play button.
How do I setup a schedule for a user/card?

Create a Time Zone, a Weekly schedule and an Access Group. During card setup assign an Access Group to the card.
How do add or change a user login?

How do I set up time zones/holidays?

To setup Time Zones click setup, then Time Zones. Time Zones are for allocating certain blocks of time that you will assign to certain days in a schedule. To add one once the Time Zones window is open press the add button in the upper left of the window, give your Time Zone an ID and a Name then press ok. Then in the graph on the main part of the window click and drag to highlight the times you want access to your door. To erase click the right most icon on the upper row of icons and then click and highlight the areas you want to delete.

After setting up time zones, assign them to days of the week using Weekly Schedules. Go to Setup, Weekly Schedules. Press the add icon on the upper left of the window that appears and give it an ID number and a name. Then on the main window where you see days of the week select the drop down on the day you wish to change then from the drop down menu select the Time Zone you want to assign to that day. Repeat for all other days of the week.

To setup holidays press Setup, Holidays and then on the calendar that appears click on the days you wish to assign as holidays. The Holiday Time Zone will override your normal schedule on those days.
How do I setup access groups? What are they?

Setup an access group to be able to assign the schedules created in Weekly Schedules to people. An access group is a group of people that will be assigned and allowed access to a certain door during a certain time. To do this press Setup, Access Groups. Press the green plus icon to add an access group. You can name this group in the upper right of the window that comes up. In the main window you will see a list of doors. Select the door you want to allow access to people in the group you created and select the Weekly Schedule to assign it to that door.
How does my maglock work?

Your maglock is a magnetic device that uses an incredibly powerful magnet to attach to a metal plate on your door. It unlocks by having the power removed from it. A motion detector above your door allows for people to leave without becoming trapped by the door.
How does my door strike work?

A door strike is simply an electrified version of your common door strike. When powered the keeper on the door strike will allow a door latch to push it out of the way freely. When unpowered it will block the door from opening. A door strike makes no changes to the operation of keys or other normal mechanical ways of operating a door.
My door is not unlocking, what do I do?

First check to make sure that your access controller is still powered up. If it is then make sure any lock device power supplies are powered up as well.
How can I remotely do all of the above? Tablet and PC

There is an app for mobile platforms (both smartphone and tablet). It’s functionality is limited to checking the status of the door and manually controlling the door.

Use of all functions are available through ASWeb. To log into ASWeb in any web browser enter the web address of your access control server. Select ASWeb from the page and login using your login credentials. All of the options are available to you on the desktop that appears.
How do I use my intercom?

To talk press the talk button.
How do I unlock my door from my intercom?

To unlock the door first make sure you are on the correct channel for the door you wish to open (if you have multiple doors on your intercom) and then press the unlock button.
